TradeColleges.org ("we," "us," "our") operates this website (the "Site").
Primary contact: privacy@tradecolleges.org

U.S. Audience Only. This Site is intended for users in the United States and is not directed to individuals in the EEA/UK. We do not offer goods or services to, or monitor the behavior of, EEA/UK residents. If you are located in the EEA/UK, please do not submit personal information to this Site.

  • We do not set our own tracking cookies beyond those used by Google for analytics/measurement.
  • We do not sell or share (for cross-context behavioral advertising) your personal information.

"Notice at Collection" (California & other U.S. state laws)

Categories of personal information we collect:

  • Identifiers/technical data (e.g., cookie or client IDs, IP address at request time, device/browser type) collected via Google Analytics.
  • Internet or network activity (pages viewed, clicks, scrolls, time on page, referring URLs).
  • Approximate geolocation (city/region inferred from IP at request time).

Sources: Your device/browser interacting with our Site; Google Analytics tags and cookies.

Purposes of use:

  • Site analytics, performance, debugging, security, and quality improvement.
  • Internal reporting and understanding content effectiveness.

Disclosure to service providers: Google LLC (analytics) and standard infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting/CDN) acting as service providers/contractors under applicable laws.

Retention: We retain event-level analytics data in GA4 for the period configured in our property (2 months). Aggregated reports may be retained longer.

Selling or sharing:

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

What We Collect (and What We Don't)

We do not intentionally collect names, emails, or other data that directly identifies you on this Site unless you voluntarily email us. Through GA4, Google may process:

  • Device & browser info (type, OS, language, screen size).
  • Usage data (pages viewed, clicks, scrolls, session duration, referring URLs).
  • Approximate location (derived from IP at collection time).
  • Technical identifiers (e.g., cookies/client ID) to recognize returning visits.

We do not enable GA4 User-ID and do not send "user-provided data" (such as hashed emails or phone numbers) to Google.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We do not set our own analytics or advertising cookies. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to measure Site engagement. You can:

Google Analytics (GA4)

We use GA4 to generate aggregated statistics about Site usage. GA4 may process data on servers in the U.S. and other countries. GA4 does not expose full IP addresses in reports; IPs may be used transiently to derive approximate location.

Ads & signals: We do not use GA4 User-ID and do not send user-provided data. If we ever enable Google signals or link Google Ads for remarketing/audiences, we will update this Policy and, where required, obtain consent. At present, we do not use GA for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Regional controls (EEA/UK): Although we are U.S.-only, we configure GA to avoid ads personalization and cross-device features for EEA/UK regions and to respect consent requirements where applicable.

Your Privacy Rights (U.S. state laws)

Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information; to know categories/specific pieces collected; to opt out of sale/share/targeted advertising; to limit use of sensitive information (not collected here); and to appeal a decision.

How to submit a request: Email privacy@tradecolleges.org with the subject "Privacy Request" and tell us which right(s) you wish to exercise. We will verify your request to a reasonable degree (e.g., by emailing you at the address used to contact us). If we refuse, you may appeal by replying "Appeal" to our decision email.

Opt-out signals (Global Privacy Control): If in the future we engage in sale/share, we will honor browser-based opt-out signals such as GPC. Currently, we do not sell/share.

Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at privacy@tradecolleges.org and we will delete it.

Data Transfers & Service Providers

We use reputable service providers (e.g., Google LLC for analytics; AWS for infrastructure). These providers process limited personal information to perform services for us and are contractually restricted from using it for other purposes.

Third-Party Links

Our Site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
